Today's diesel trucks burn way cleaner than gassers.

This should be enforced on gassers with filthy black tail pipes.

I don't understand how they allow gas vehicles to get by with lax emissions, but us diesel owners need to have "clean" tail pipes.

I'm not sure about that. I know I'm being baseless, but my eyes don't fool me. Compare a tailpipe on a modern gasser and you stick your fingers in it and it'll come out black with soot. Same year diesel will have no soot.

I pride myself in not having a dirty black exhaust on my modern diesel truck. I find it more interesting in how it can make that happen.
