Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Star wheel adjustment on a stock truck?

I received my new guages today and will be putting them in tommorow and i was wondering if i adjust the star wheel would it do me any good since everything else is stock?



I am planning on getting a new fuel plate and injectors but that will have to wait a month or two.

realy little. It will give you some smoke out of the hole and a little fast spoolup. If you slide you cam plate and adjust that it would be noticeable.

Rotate the wheel so as it turns on the shaft it releases tension on the spring, thats toward the front of the engine. it will make a difference on how quick the turbo spools up and it will smoke more at low RPM so keep adjusting it till it makes you happy. I backed mine all the way off and then kept moving it rearward till I could live with the smoke and the power was still pretty good.
