I have it on my truck and have been very happy with it. Slight MPG increase so far. Maybe 1 MPG or so. Noticeable power increase especially on the top setting.

Rebel, I've read the stats on this module and have been thinking of adding one to my 2015 Longhorn. My question is if the best results are when using the top setting why wouldn't you just leave it in that mode 100% of the time? Is there a down side at that setting ? Thanks.........Don

Don, there are a couple reasons. First I’m mainly just playing around with it right now. I’m trying to run it for a decent period of time to get a good idea of what setting will yield the best mileage results. Secondly, I have a 4-Horse trailer that I pull at least once a month and haven’t totally decided if I want to haul on the top setting. I probably will just to see how it does but haven’t made that decision yet. Also I’ve only hauled it on the “low” and “middle” settings so far with marginally better mileage on the middle setting.

Most of the reviews I’ve seen are people that have installed the module and only drove for a few weeks or a month. Hard to get good data on what the module will actually do over such a short period.

I also track my mileage with the Fuelly app so that’s also going to allow me to truly pick the data apart and see what gains I’m really getting.

Thanks Rebel. That pretty well sums it up if you are looking more at MPG than the extra torque. I was pretty impressed with the gain in torque they got on the dyno. Did you mount the control switch inside the truck or leave it under the hood?
Don

I just left it under the hood. I’ve already got a lot of wires passing through the firewall for my siren, emergency lighting, and auxiliary lights.

I’ll say that I’m definitely impressed with the additional torque. The middle setting is very peppy and the top setting legitimately feels like the truck is tuned.

After the new year I may take it to the local diesel shop and have it dynoed just to see what they come up with.
