Like the first poster here said... the place is lightweight. It's only a forum. . nothing more. It needs a nice front page, maybe a quarterly publication... . how about sponsored events? Get to work and quit hounding the members. Make the place enjoyable instead of what you're doing over there now. I just take a few opportunities on these sites that respect members to speak my mind. Something you decided I wasn't allowed to do over there.

I think all anyone including the staff here just needs to revisit this topic and view the comments by you bringing me in and make a determination on WHO has issues with what.

It's not about me Mackin.



There is no comparison between Ford-Diesel.com and the place. None whatsoever. I own/owned both the Dmax and two other GM diesel trucks. Now I own a Dodge. I don't believe my posting on the place are anything to compare to my ranting and deserved removal from Ford-Diesel. Those were just silly times. You my friend, need to stop making me out to have done something I didn't do. What are you saying I was banned because of what I might do? You're a joke. After me being a moderator on the place from it's inception and all the informative posting and articles over what four years you compare me to the ranting WE did over there six years ago? And because I lashed out at you on two occasions for being a wackoff over me and my Dodge I'm a risk?



I simply see it as a business move. Don't blame you cause you don't need a big hitter on the place standing up and saying whats good AND bad about the Dmax.



Just thought you all could have sent me a note before hand possibly saying something like... "Mike... you need to stop standing up for your Dodge on this GM site. Mike, you need to stop fighting back when Mackin rams DODGE IS JUNK as a moderator, in your Dodge postings. Mike if you don't we will ban you for life and not even allow you to view the site. "

MACK there are always people who don't like what other people say. There always will be members who will complain about other members opinions especially when someone like me who was a prominant pro-Dmax owner turned Dodge. The complainers were the ones who say things like "I wouldn't let someone park a Dodge in my driveway" Or have all out hate for Dodge. That is to be expected.



What you did not see from me was all out hate statements against GM or the Dmax. That's not what the Dodge members recieved in return. Since the place is a GM site, why do you have other specific brand forums in place? So you can harrass them... one sided and they can't stand up for themselves? Is it a trolling area for thedieselplace members?



Sure many were sick of me. If you look, you will see most of my tell-it like-it-is posting was done after a few people slammed the Dodge. I simply stood up for the reasons I bought my Dodge and was honest about how I percieved the Dmax from it's inception.



What's interesting here is I never was on a hate rant about GM or the DMax. I often praised it but it was when I stood up to a few members about the recent GM styling and the comments about the DMax not worth owning after 100,000 miles, you guys got wedgies over it and got sick of me for saying it.



You say you went to bat for me once. Yea after you continuosly slammed me in my "How to" articles in the Dodge section over and over... . AS MODERATOR.



I got fed up with it and pulled my info.

I thought it was interesting that you banned me an never said a word to anone... wouldn't answer any members questions about it but in other cases you pounded your chest about cutting off members. You knew what you were doing was not right.



My only point I'm making right here in this topic is about you MACKIN.



Moderators should be moderators not aholes and brand cheerleaders. Moderators shouldn't be slamming vendor products and breaking their own sites rules bigtime. Moderators shouldn't get into personal arguements online with the members. Moderators are just that, like here, you don't really know they are moderators until someone gets out of line.



There is a fine line between opinion, freedom of speech, and what is "out of line"



You my friend, as moderator, are out of line with what you did to me.
