Here be some that DON'T work for me.



Jeez, I started looking through the racing calendar and there's something every weekend through mid June. Then the GF is dragging me to the beach. Then I might take the Bar.



Ya'll go ahead and plan something and if'n I don't race for some reason, I'll come out.



Otherwise honk and wave when you see me pulling a 5x10 enclosed trailer with bike stickers on it, like "Share the Road!" And don't tailgate. I have enough soot to reach out past that little trailer.

I get my kicks on vintage moto-cross bikes so I understand. I hate to peddle so your sport would be way to much work for me even if there are a lot of down hills involved.

I started racing "Beginner" last year and did the first race in that category this year. Then I stepped up--not to "Sport" but to "SingleSpeed".



SingleSpeed is an open category classified by bike only. I ran a 32x18 gear in the last race and will run a 32x16 in the next race. Just one gear--too much on the hills and too little on the downs. Jest right in the middle.

Saw a 1st gen with some altitude today going down I-65 South. Was red and grey and had two 6" Turnouts sticking about a foot above the cab. 'Bout all I saw cause I was going the other way.



Anybody know anything about it?

I had a guy call me out of the Travel Companion. He's from California and in Manchester and wanting to change the transmission juice.



I'm glad it was nothing serious.



Drove to LBL and back without getting "spotted" the other day. Going to North GA this weekend, I better go notify them.



HO yeah, took a kid out(18) for a ride in my truck the other night--he was WAY impressed. He has a 02 3500 6sp.

Tn Get togother

We got to get together sometimes guys... I just installed an Edge EZ and AFE Mega Cannon on my dad's new 2003 HO, Crew cab 3500 4x4. I can bring it to the meet if ya'll like a ride in a new one. This thing was fast before... . now it is quick... It reminded me of driving a camero... you'd never think it was a 4x4 dually! It'll do donuts and figure eights in an asphalt parking lot

Race was at the North Entrance out by Paducah, so I was on 24 all the way.



And was late going and was in the hailstorm coming back.



Driving my sister's 360 gasser around--GAWD does it SUCK. Sucks gas and goes nowhere fast! Flowmaster sounds kinda neat--you know motorboat-like, but gimme a gearbox and a Hummin Cummins anyday.



Hey, and saw a Red 3500 with gauges at Rocky River Road between Mcminnville and Spencer the other day. I'll go back and talk to him.

Been kind of stumbling around the forum here, and finally ran across something I was WAY interested in: A group of owners local to me! I just picked up my first diesel a couple of weeks ago. Had some tractors in the past, but this is my first diesel truck. MAN do I love this thing.



Anywho, didn't mean to interupt ya'lls thread, but just wanted to drop a line and get involved with you guys.



I live in Pleasant View. . about 25 miles north/northwest of Nashville, and I work in Nashville.



If you guys have regular meetings or get togethers, Please let me know. I'd really enjoy getting to meet you guys.

Glad to have ya... It's nice to meet people who are obsessed about the trucks as we are, huh? When I start to think I got diesel fever bad, There is always somebody here who has it worse. Dieselaholic for life!

Yeah, it's going to be real nice to know some people locally. There are a couple of CTD's here on our campus. I'm trying to get with the guys to see if they are members here. If not, I'll try and get them to sign up. There's another '03 2500, and what appears to be a '96-97 Dually. There are about 3000 people that work here, so it's gonna be hard to hook up with them/find out who they are.



Maybe we can all get together in Nashville, it's a pretty centrally located place (to me anyway). I know that there you're from Dickson, and I saw that another guy was from Galatin. I am almost square inbetween you guys. I'll drive to texas though to meet up with other owners!

I was kinda spearheading a TN chapter, but then bike racing/training got in the way.



But we should had artta go ahead and get together anyway. My racing schedule is slowing down and the HEAT is coming on. So I'm good to go except after this weekend except for the weekend of June 1st and Father's Day weekend.
