Ok White 24 Valve Quad Cab Dually 2 wheel drive STRAIGHT PIPED!:D has gauges on the pillar and a 5" tip... ... ... .

I was coming to the Hwy25(Hartsville Pike)/Hwy 231 4-way stop intersection this morning as you HAMMERED it and left a little smoke going towards Gallatin. Didn't see any club stickers of any kind. Who are ya?!?!

By the way if you saw in your rearview I left a bigger cloud on my way to Lebanon from the 4-way!:eek: :D Oo.

dyno day, mid-tenn chapter meeting

Just curious how your event went guys. I wish i could have been there but the 8 1/2 drive was a bit much this weekend. I hope to get with yal next time. It will be nice to move to an area that has active members around... . :)

Went okay

Considering the unrelenting rain, the dyno problems and subsequent relocation to backup dyno.

About 50/50 Fords to Cummins. Even had 6. 0 wheezer there. Some strong Fords, but I left at 4pm and had only seen one or two Cummins runs.

There was one ford/cummins conversion and an old GM with a Cummins in it.

Passed out some membership info and TDR back issues and stickers. Probably get a couple more members.

I think we had more trucks that they could possibly run in one day.

well it sounds like it went pretty good though. maybe next time we can make the numbers 49phord/51CTD when i get there:D but i am glad to hear that things went very well, and that enough of everyone showed up to fill up the entire day...

You missed it Wade,

Top 3 trucks were hummin Cummins. 451hp,the shop filled

with smoke, and the Ford boys went running out the door.

Dodge boys just took in a deep breath and said, HOPE THATS

Maybe we can all get together some time soon. Wade's about to have a fit to get all the TN guys together. :-laf

Wished I could have been there too. It was a hard decision. a weeks vacation in Tampa Fl, 80 degree weather all week, or some good smoke. Tough call but I chose the week in FL. Wish I could have meet some of you guys also... .

Maybe next time!

I'm headed your way

Ok guys a few days and counting and I will be down in Nashville to find a place to live and so the wife can go on her interview with Vanderbilt. So I know this is short notice but I would love to get with some of you guys and meet yal. Maybe a dinner or supper somewhere around nashville nothing formal unless others want it but just a get together or something. Any takers?

Well I think I'm the only one in the area right now. Haven't heard much out of anybody in a long time.

Wade Patton seems to have fallen off the earth.

I'm in Nash. Mon-Thur for college @ Nash. State Tech. Community College.

Hard to miss my White Reg Cab 4x4 with dual 5" Miters (as of yesterday)

If I can get away from school and work sometime it'd be nice to meet ya.

If ya ever need any help with your truck once you get here me and a buddy are tossing around an idea for a shop. :confused: still just talk right now, and very little at that. But we have a nice size shop to work on his or my truck when needed. And I think he's hooked because I have a plate and injectors and he's ridden in mine and he just has a plate :-laf

Let me know when your coming in. :D

Well school is the whole reason for moving down there, Im going to attend NADC in Aug. So keep that shop idea open. . LOL. . We will be there Sun- Wed definetly but if needed we may stay a little while longer.

How did the stacks go? Any problems? We'll have to hook up for a beer or something, doesnt sound like your too much older than me anyway.

BTW mine is rather hard to miss with the ranchand front bumper and matching flatbed... . oh did i forget to mention the straight piped 4" stacks CRAWlING up the side of the cab... LOL :D

No actually a little younger than you. I'll be 20 in July :-laf

NADC? One of my Cynthiana KY buddies on the DTR site goes there. Maybe when I graduate NSTCC next year and you graduate NADC we could open our own shop :-laf :-laf :-laf

No no probs with stacks except I'm gonna need a resinator!:{

Me and a buddy had to stop for ear plugs 1 hr into the 3 hr drive home from Cynthiana last night. :{

The drone @ 70MPH is killer! Thinking about making some kinda baffle that would slip into the stack to try and muffler things. Some TDR member did it a long time ago but I cannot find the post? Or well posted about it maybe someone can help me.

So your coming down this coming Sunday through Wednesday? Maybe we can get together after school if I'm off work.

I am here!

I work in Nashville. Live in Dickson. Looking for a place to live and like small towns, look there. It is about the last small town left within 45 miles of nashville.

I work real close to Vanderbilt. I work right behind the parthenon. I work Mon and Tues. Could meet for lunch anytime no problem or even supper!

I am 29 yrs old. Gauges , Pipe and Bhaf is all i've done so far, but love talking diesel. I have really kicked around the shop Idea as well too. Grew up working with the old man, he runs his own heavy equipment diesel shop. Grew up working on lawn mowers one day to Trac-Hoe's the next. Whatever the local farmers could break, we fixed. Love anything diesel! If it got a diesel, I've probably worked on it, or I know I at least held the flashlight!

I used to live pretty close to Dickson about 5 years ago. Right on the Houston/ Cumberland Cnty line on 49 (or 46 I can't remember right now) But we were just outside of Cumberland city but concidered Erin residence. (15 miles from erin, 3 miles from Cumberland city. So I'm familiar with Dickson.

And trust me Barrington, if my feel for 'Got Smoke' is right, we will change
Gauges , Pipe and Bhaf is all i've done so far, but love talking diesel.
:cool: Once you have the bug IT WONT STOP. .

Russell

Ok I'm asking for the wife, well cause women can make you do this... lol... she wants to know how many of you 'mid-20's' members have wifes or gf's so she doesnt get sick of diesel talk all the time. . LOL :{

Bombitis

I have the bug something fierce! I have had it awhile. I just can't get the ol lady to bite! I am working on her... Every time we get some money saved where I can get that Comp, she finds something for the house that would be more important. . "But it's for both of us, it's for the house!" yeah yeah... .

I am selling Edge box and stacks right now... The stacks are a hard sell... I've got my 3 yr old hooked on stacks. He is helping. Everytime he sees a big rig, or stacks period He says, "Look Daddy, Stacks, they are smoke'n!!"

OneStackd:

I've got one(the wife that is). Married almost 7 yrs, She is pretty tolerant, but I don't think she would be to enthused about hanging out with a bunch of diesel heads! as she says, "All grunting and scratching themselves"! hehe! She would entertain yours for sure.

Got Smoke:

How loud are they? I've heard some people say they aren't as bad as straight pipe if they are above the cab? Does the resonator help??

Well technically we will be married for one day by the time we get to Nashville on Sund. :rolleyes: I finally broke down a year ago. . LOL. . so sat. is our wed. day. But we will have been together for 3 years by then, and lived together for a 2 years. SO I concider that being married already... :D :mad: :{ ..... lol

And we need to keep the wifes apart on the days that either of us want to get new 'toys'. Mine always hate em until theyre in then she loves what it does to the truck. She just never seems to get over the money... . LOL :D
