Dyno Report
HOLY FUZZ, that was FUN!
Short version:
Gap (PistonSlapper) 99 2500 stock/auto 201-414
Eric (elamb) 02 2500 stock HO/6 235-486
Kirk (4 Ram Tracks) 03 3500 stock HO/6 262-473
Jim (non-TDR yet) 96 3500 Banks 5-sp 277-613
Me (WadePatton) 00 2500 UFM/6 343-800
Mark (Got Smoke?) 97 2500 #10-300's 400-870*
Rest of the story:
Had problems with getting the juicer to do right. Gearboxes rule when it comes dyno time. Jim's truck has some banks stuff, but we don't know just exactly what that means. And his plate is all the way back for EGT purposes as he pulls a 12k camper. Mark will have to figure out what numbers he wants to publish.

I have 359/870 down for him before he moved his plate up. Then he ran many times but kept losing the tach signal. The room became very dark and sooty.

(More fans next time). I don't doubt that he hit 400, but some of the torque numbers were a bit silly.
Super facility, service, and fun. Thanks Brent, Heath (MIA today), Andy, and John.
I'm WTFO, so I'm cutting this short BUT, I did run the ford! You know--the dyno guy's truck- Andy aka Hippie aka Sooty. I knew better, but thought what the hay, and we went from a dead stop.
Well his truck is a 2wd dually so he had two more tires for traction. But his truck is just a tad heavier than mine, couple hundred maybe. And his truck is an auto and they are usually faster in a drag race, and can build boost on the line. And he probably has tons more experience drag racing than I do. So are you ready for the results yet?
He got about a truck and a half on me as I spun the first two gears

, then when I finally got off the line, he never pulled another inch but I couldn't reel him in either. We ran up to about 105-110. Truck wise it was a draw. Did I say fun?
Now to retire the stock injectors!Oo. I mean heck, they've got 80k on them and one dyno session and why go to all the trouble of adjusting valves if you're not going to change injectors. They may be rusty or something. Can you say E-X-T-R-U-D-E H-O-N-E-D D-D-3's

That should take care of the "reel him in" part--of course my Michelins ain't a gonna like it. Yes there are some brand new 265 size dual-traces on US 231 and TN 452!!! Okay so we didn't limit our fun to the shop. (can you see the fatigue yet?)
I may add some more in the morning. I have photos and more details to come.
