@Turbo Terry, Have your "INDY" allow you to pull up a chair and hand them the tools to help ween you away from it! :)
It's hard to change from what has been the norm all those years! I can relate as since my back surgeries has changed the what, how and when I can do things! Every task requires the thought of can I do this and then how!
Just enjoy that new toy of yours! Glad you got to pack her up and travel the roads with her! Just get settled in for the winter season that has arrived in your neck of the woods.

This is how mine came from the factory.

This is what it looks like from the top. To me it’s a no brainer.

To add a little new juice to the thread, this is how I added the new oil. Screwed right into the valve cover. Made it really easy to pour 3 full one gallon jugs of oil in. Well really part one of the jugs when in the filter, before I lowered it in, put my left hand under the bottom of the filter and turned it in place with my right hand.

That’s actually Fluid Film and road grime. I spray the underside of the truck twice a year with Fluid Film.

Good man, now I see it too on the spring bracket. You care for your investment, that's awesome. It's so sad to see these beautiful trucks rust away in just a couple years.

I try my best will all our stuff, but living in the Rust Belt it’s hard to keep up sometimes.
