Transmission Pan Gasket for Mag Hytec Deep Pan

Could someone tell me if the reusable Mopar trans pan gasket is compatible with the Mag Hytec Deep Pan? Or, do I need to use a fiber gasket? I am changing the fluid and filter on the tranmission for the first time and I'm not sure what gasket would be best for the job.

I reused the Mopar gasket and threw the cork/fiber supplied one back in the box.

I also used the stock gasket and have had the Mag-Hytec pan off a couple of times and the original gasket is still leak-free.

... then I hope your threw the box away. The cork gasket is total garbage compared to the OE so remove temptation and TOSS it.

I made a mistake and used the fiber gasket isntead of the Mopar reusable gasket. The fiber gasket seeps fluid and makes a mess on the MagHytec pan. I saved the original reusable gasket and will reuse it the next time I have the pan off.

Yes the box is in the great dumpster in the sky. Never had a cork gasket that did not seep.

Same here. I used the original reusable and the fiber one went in the trash.

Some clown argued with me on another forum that the fiber gasket that comes with the pan is a much better gasket. Said he always throws the OEM gasket away on all the mag-hytec pan installs he's done.

1 out of 100 will leak with the oem gasket. On the otherhand I have never had

the included gasket leak on any of the hundreds of Mags... ... . I have installed. Haven't seen a cork gasket in years :-laf thank god
