Transmsision shift problem

Okay, I have done all I can do and there is no power at the transmission with everything you have suggested. Guess it's time for the repair shop. Thanks again for everyone's help. If nothing else I learned a few things.

Then you have a broken wire because from the relay there is a single wire running down to the transmission feeding the solenoids.
And as you said, the relay has power on two sockets.
But maybe a car electric is better now.

Interesting, puzzling development. We were driving the truck to the mechanic yesterday and it shifted perfectly, however, the AC wasn't blowing cold air and the cruise control would not work I'll update this after the mechanic lets me know what is going on.

Well, the final story. While driving the truck to the mechanic it shifted properly all the way. Air and cruz not working though and he found broken vac line but could do anything about the trans problem as there is none now. He test-drove the dickens out of the truck after replacing the vac line and the trans shifted perfectly. Guess I'll have to wait to see if this happens again.
