Hello everyone.

I have the Bully setup and need some advice here. Today when the compressor kicked on to fill the tank it must have ran for about 5 minutes and would not cut off. I pulled over and took the fuse out and checked pressure in the tank and it was about 115 PSI. did not seem to be pumping any air. The compressor head was not hot either. I just didn't want it running without pumping air. The unit is still under warranty(about 7 mos. left). I will attempt to check it out tomorrow,I don't think it has any leaks otherwise the tank would not hold pressure. Other than that it seems OK. Any tips would be great.
Regards,

Phil

My compressor will not shut off until it has built up almost 130# of pressure. The instructions tell us not to let the compressor run more that 7 minutes then it must have a 30 minute cool down.

Check for leaks with soap suds.

In one of the Grover post someone else had another way of checking for leaks. OH here is the tread!

Hope this helps.

BIG BOB,
thank's for the input. Put some soap suds on all the fittings and found only one spot at the schrader valve/pressure switch cross. Very small leak, but nonetheless I tightened the fitting. Put fuse back in,bled air from tank down to about 100-110 PSI,took only about 30 seconds or so for the comp. to build back up to around 130 PSI. looks good to me. Oh I did read the thread on the Grovers. Thanks again Bob #ad
.

Phil

Phil,
Glad you got your Bullys fixed. They are truly Awesome horns.

I was driving beside a school bus today, some of the kids were waving so I gave them a blast! They loved it and the kids that didn't know or see me beside them kept looking for a 18 Wheeler! It was great!

Also today I was at one of my suppliers and was talking to him about my truck and air horns. When I left, he was on the phone, but I had to give him a blast! He jumped they startled him soooooo bad!

Have fun with them, you'll appreciate them more every day!

Bob
