I was doing a real good cleaning of the engine compartment after wheeling in the backcountry, hunting in BC. my truck started fine, but as i pulled out of the carwash it stalled. it fired up again and died quickly. it wont start at all now. i have left it sit overnight to see if maybe some wiring was wet and such but no luck. any thoughts would be great, thanks .

I would take wd40 and spray it into the connector of your FCA... Actually, you'd do well to spray it into any connector you can find in there... Most likely you've got water somewhere it shouldn't be and it will cause corrosion and more trouble later...

Any codes? I have lost track of the numbers of times I have cleaned the engine and no issues. They are really not sensitive to it unless you have a connector that is loose. What sometimes happens is the pressure blows a wire off of something important and then you have issues. Get codes and see if that will point out something obvious.

I have checked codes,po462,po463=fuel level sensor circuit low and high input, witch probably dont mean much considering my fuel gauge hasn't worked for a year and a half.
po514=battery temp sensor rationality, can't imagine that being it.
po521=oil pressure sensor/switch circuit range/performance. would this pressure sensor issue cause a no fire ?????

Unplug the oil pressure switch harness and make sure the contacts are clean and dry.

BTW, the battery temp thing was fixed by a S/W update long ago.
