Turning Radius of new trucks...

When I bought my 01 - I had riven a lot of Fords and couldn't believe how much better the turning radius was with my Dodge - granted mine is a short bed - but I can turn on some very narrow small places - relatively speaking. Even in town I can get around the small places fairly well. The Ford took forever to get turned around. Has the new Ford improved it's turning radius or do you still need a 20 acre field?

You should try a Freightliner FL-50 the shorter wheel bases have a better turning radius than my Porsche. As for the turning radius on newer Fords I don't know.

Don't know on the SDs, but you are right. My '97 w/CC turns tighter than my '86 w/reg. cab. My grandpa had a '97 F-350 PSD Crew cab that turned really tight like the Dodge, it was 2wd though.

I had a friend with an 02 that still had issues with the steering. I never new anything about it till he traded it for an 03 dodge quad cab. He still can't beleive how much better the dodge turns.
