With the cost of fuel rising was just wondering if those you who have upgraded the auto trans; have seen any improvement in your mpg's? Just curious for future reference (got the trans upgrade money stash started).

Thanks

Maybe I would see a MPG increase if I drove like I did before the DTT upgrade. ;) You simply want to race anything that lines up next to you. :-laf

I asked the same question before i put my DTT transmission in. Got a lot of responses, one that stands out in my mind was a guy that put in a DTT at like 20,000 miles and was bone stock, and he said 1. 5 MPG increase. I would think they increase mileage, but once you get one, you will probably starting bombing pretty heavily. Then you will race anything and everything. Good luck in the future!!

It depends on what you are pulling, and what shape your original transmission is in.

I saw about 1 mpg in town, with the mods. mostly from the tighter converter. It will/can go away in time because you change the driving style. But go easy and you can see the improvement.
