Vw Sucks!

Love my little Jetta TDI ... only problem was a the break like switch in 77K miles.

Over 50 mpg consistantly. I'd buy another one in a minute.

This is why I will never sell my reliable 1967 VW bug. Gets good, not great milage, easy to fix and will always run when nothing else will.

Stopped and checked these out at a dealer today and wasn't too impressed with the car or the dealer. Hope someone comes up with some more choices for diesel powered econo cars. they had a 03 beetle on the lot brand new never have been able to sell it yet. weird.

Wow so many rants. I have 2 TDis and have limited problems with both of them. Actually YOU have to be the service center. the Vag-Com S/W is needed to eliminate the frustrations of ahhhhh going back to the mfrs representative. There are also many 'get to gethers' that will be helpful in eliminating your frustrations. As with all vehicles there are problems. "Mr. Fatcat" even has been to my house for modifications and general assistance in TDI maint issues. I hope the posters can gwet their issues resolved. there is help out there.

Lol do you ever post anything helpful? First you should admit that deep down you are longing for a drive-by-wire 3rd gen :-laf Have you ever owned a Jetta TDI? I have and it was a fantastic vehicle.
