Chris, last I talked to Bryan, he was going up earlier in the week, something about arrow head hunting, or was that going up to pay the locals to sabatage the dodge trucks in the pulls :)

Hoss, we'll see what develops as the time grows nearer.

Anybody have a kickoff time for this event? Thanks.

Ok, A few questions. What rules are they using and what are the classes?

Are we going to use these rules? http://www.dieselpullers.com/rules.htm

If so, does the PDR 3rd gen Bomber light turbo class as a stock/street class turbo? It is the factory turbo (HY-35) with a larger compressor wheel.

BHanner, I believe you would be in the street/stock class as long as the exhaust housing is the stock size. Brandon or Chris might have a better answer for ya. Pretty sure we are using MLM rules.

if it gets by tech then you're in-are there other mods to the truck?? technically you're truck is not stock with this turbo the way it's worded in the DPO's rules, as stock means no engine mods---you can only have a different air filter or 4 " exhaust or lockers basically -but one must take into account the whole pkg also, so if this is the only mod I'd be hard pressed to put you in the Pro-Stock class, but I'm not the tech guy either-chris

Only other mod to the truck is the EZ box. I don't have the PDR turbo on yet, I was just wondering about the rules. :)

EZ puts you in the pro-stock class---according to the DPO rules at this time---I'm not sure they will use the DPO rules or not--no one has really said either way---

I have no idea who is teching--this isn't a DPO event per se, but we might pool some money that will go the winner, but that has yet to be worked out-- are you guys going Danelle????... ... . chris

Where does it say anything about the fueling? I see stuff about smoke and turbos... . but nothing else.

good point---guess when we made the rules we figured stock meant stock, pro meant some mods and super meant twins and drugs--- I need to add some wording--will work on this ASAP, so there will be less confusion---chris

I amended the streetstock and prostock rules to read how they should've from the start--now we shall see what bodes for the next round--I will say we will try and be flexible if the DPO is involved, as we understand there may not be a bone stock truck in existence at the events, but you never know--and it's not really fair to a guy who has just an EZ to compete against a guy with a Drag comp box, but where does one draw a line--can't have a hundred classes---just need to play it by ear at each event and see who and what shows up--chris

I hate to say this but the last pull I was at with my truck I was WAY too overfueled due to me not thinking about the 4000' elevation and was beat by a BONE stock Ford. :( (I hang my head in shame)

The rules are going to be touchy no matter where we are and you're not going to please everyone. That's just life. Hopefully everyone will keep it honest and work with everyone and keep it fair. Everyone just needs to keep an open mind and have fun doing it!

things are looking shaky--transmission parts are still not ready and I don't think I can chance driving up there and back in its current condition-let alone pull with it inbetween--plus I'm starting a new remodel on the 19th vs the 5th--wife's b-day is the 22nd--but it's mostly if the parts aren't here then I'm pretty much screwed--chris
