Well, I'm back...

Got a backrack and some in-bed tie downs...

The backrack needed some welding and custom brackets. All done except to round some corners, sand, prime, and paint...it will fit with my bedliner and my side boxes.

I never understood why they never installed tiedowns in these truck...

So this weekend, with the continued COVID-19 deal, I'm going to get the backrack done, pull the brush guard off and finish welding it, and install my poly body mounts.

My Skyjacker 2.5-inch lift is backordered until 27 March...

Got one thing painted....

Installed, now on to the brush guard, need to pull it for the welding. Then while the daughter is grinding on that for paint, I'll work on installing poly body mounts...and hopefully by then, my lift kit arrives.

Some more progress...

Painted the front and rear bumpers and the brush guard.

Cut the bottom of the front fenders off...the PO had torched them off, I cut them with a cutoff and blended them in some...

Changed the body mounts out with Prothane...made my driver's door out of whack and needed to align it again.

Changed all the fluids out, front and rear differentials and transfercase...the fluids looked good.

Cut the tailgate in and redid the LE panel...may be to light of a green.

Acquired a manifold with a WH1C on it for a good deal...and some other stuff. Been buying some small odds and ends spare parts.

And I redid a dealer-option "super-duty cooler"...install that in a few weeks.

Hopefully my Skyjacker lift ships soon...almost two months later...

I got rid of the evil automatic transmission grenade, had the frame more or less pulled back into shape and replaced the badly overstressed and worn out springs...

Please come and weld in new floorboards and D sections for me so mine does not scare my wife so much!

I traded for the flatbed, always wanted a flatbed.
