Truck Pulling/racing Video Game

I can't decide what is more impressive in some of those you tube videos, the truck starting or a guy walking around at 30 below with no gloves, hat or a heavy coat.

I've got 2 optima yellow tops and Rotella 5w-40 synthetic in the pan. Without the block heater, it starts easily down to 0 degrees F, I've started down to -20 without the block heater, it takes a couple seconds for all the cylinders to fire and then its business as usual

Found the pic of the proof!!

I'd like to see an 8 year old 6-litre do that.

07 PSD company truck picked up from dealers lot in Feb 07 failed to start less than a week after with only 450 miles on it at only -20

-30 (ambient temp) without being plugged in and my 01 was very mad indeed!!! ;)

Took 30 sec for grid heater and 15+ sec of cranking with pedal half way before she lit, but it STILL started!!!

Took a while before I dared to drive it, but I had other stuff to do in the mean time ;)

I found the pic I took about an hour before I got back to the yard to start the Dodge!! I guess it was actually a couple * colder than I remembered :-laf:D

I tried to upload the audio file from that day, but couldn't do it

before i got my espa i didnt have a heater or i had one but it was us standard and i finland we have 220-240volt so i have cranked my cummins in -15 to - 23*c

15 isnt a problem but when it is around 20 its pretty hard... at that point i think my cummins wanted to beat me up cause it sounded pretty angry

-13F unplugged. Took two tries. Just had to see if it would start being unplugged over night, but I really hated doing it (the truck wasn't too happy about it either).

It was either 1993 or 1994 and it got down to -27. I owned a '92 D250, I was low on fuel and we chugged to get some warmer diesel fuel and after I filled the tank it did fine.

Below 20F is interesting with the ole 96 on 50% cooking oil! :-laf LOTS of gray smoke and I have to hold the accelerator down a little till it quits skipping/sputtering, which is about 20-30 seconds. It has 237,000+ miles on it and has had grid heater unplugged nearly ever since I bought it new in 96. Block heater has never been used.
