where can i get a functional cowl hood for my 3rd gen truck?

My $.02.....

The scoops on the hood posted by Mopar_Mudder are "inspired" by the ram air scoops on the last gen Firebirds, and a few of the Grand Am GT's etc. The scoop on the other hood (the one in flat black prime off the truck) is "inspired" by the hood on the '70 AAR 'Cuda. The diesel hood posted by Big Bob looks a little like a scaled down version of scoop on the old SS Hemi cars...



That being said, shouldn't a Dodge truck have a Mopar-styled scoop on it???



OK, I admit I've been bleeding Mopar since before I could walk, so feel free to flame/flog away!

The flat black hood is the one that I am building, the back of the hood is raised up 2 2/4 of an inch and it has a removable panel were you can put 2 5/8 gauges. The air box will have a AFE cone filter in it. I don,t have a cost yet.

Any updates on these hoods? I really like Hofeldt's hood for the 2nd gen... not too flashy.
