Who has the big flip around tow mirrors?

Just wondering how many of you have the big chrome tow mirrors that have the 4 mounts on the door? How well do you like them?



Seem to remember a post from a member months back about not being able to keep the bolts from rusting?

I really like them. They have the small convex mirrors attached and I have no blind spot at all, not even a motorcycle can hide next to me not even with a trailer.

Yeah exactly! Are those OEM? Flip'n through a Rickson catalog and there is a nice looking QC in there with the mirrors looks sweet. Plus I am towing Goosenecks more and have thought about the mirrors. Have them on my old Chevy truck and they were great when dad used to pull goosenecks with it years ago! But I like 'em cause they are BIG!

I love them for towing and in three and half years have never had any problems with them, but I have to swing them in every time I park in the garage, a real pain in the butt.



I am currently checking into changeing my 9 foot doors into a one 18 foot door, then I won't have to keep flipping the mirrors.

Yes, they are OEM. They are standard on the 94 to 98 Duellies and Chassis/Cabs

They were not an option on my 2001 as that is what I preferd but could not get. Maybe they are back to being an option.

Yep I got them on my 99QC some how. I just ordered everything HD and low and behold they were there. The dealer thought they had ordered the wrong mirrors and I was intially skeptical, but they have been a godsend ever since. It does limit my access into some garages and most car washes, but I would not trade them for the world. If you are towing anthing close to 8' wide, nothing else works. Yes, I do have the little convex mirrors to help with the blind spots.

The nice part is when they are flipped in, they are protected from most anything bumping them and changing the focus area. This includes most branches, parking lot idiots and the occasional bicycle. :--) NO I have not hit anybody on bicycles, Scratch the bicycle... .

I ordered then on the 99 and loved them after I added the convex spot for that tiny blind area.

i myself will go with the real west coast mirrors if i ever convert my truck to a dually! (like my dad has done-see the pics in yahoo). they have the half-door ones that you're looking at too.

I have them on my 94 2500 they are factory, i love them give the truck a meaner look especially when you mount cb antennas on each side.



howwever when you are driving in tight spaces be careful !!!
