This is awesome.

My wife's Durango has the start/stop feature. Dealer says it can't be disabled but I wonder if this could??

I believe the new wrangle has it as a customer configurable option. Have you looked the the EVIC configuration options on the car its self?

The only option is to manually turn off the start/stop each and every time the car is started, much like the T/H and EB feature on the Ram

Theres a lot of dealer configurable options in Alpha OBD. I read on one of the other forums a guy installed AND programmed an ITBC on his truck.

The biggest take away is ONLY change one configuration item at a time AND confirm successful operation before changing another. Also, write down EXACTLY what you did.

As for gauge related data, I preferred an Edge CTS2 Insight monitor on my 2017 Ram.

Bottom Line: Like any other tool, it's only as good or bad as the user operating it.

Cheers, Ron

I'd love to see a break down list of changeable options from the Alfaobd

John, related to the other topic going on here, can you use this Alfa OBDII to graph SCR in/ outs like reductant flow, Nox readback, and what the urea quality sensor says?
I think that would be real neat to see.

I haven't seen that yet, or any other data logging options.

I did find the ability for a stationary desoot thou, if ever needed.

I have used it on my 18. You can get a bypass cable from a member of another forum and it works perfect. I also set my toms to only light up below 35psi. Got tired of winter weather setting it off when tires went below factory threshold. Adjusted my spedo for the taller tires and did the fog light drop out disable. On another forum (not sure I can post the name here) they have a working list of stuff that people have successfully done with it. Folks with a tradesman are adding heated/vented seats and tow mirrors and even enable LED lights and won't need to by the extra module for the can bus.

I am getting ready to purchase AlfaOBD, one question though? Who is using on their smartphone vs laptop? Be nice if $50 included one phone and one PC subscription...
