Just curious, because this past weekend on the dyno, I only topped out at 378... about 35 low from normal numbers... I did take my AFC spring out, love the smoke, but am curious if it is just pouring too much fuel, and literally flooding the motor?? someone chime in and let me know please!!!

No, gutting the AFC will not rob you of HP. It only controls the pre-boost fueling of the engine, once the turbo boost builds, the AFC's job is over. At least that is the way I understand it.

You could very well be washing the cylinders down with fuel before the boost builds with the AFC gutted.

Well, I did adjust the wastegate on my HX40, only because I was pushing upwards of 45 psi boost, but I figured that would be out of the efficency range. It now runs 40 psi max. . Would the 4-5 psi make that big of a difference? I know one pound of boost is equal to around 10 hp, but what is the efficency range of an HX40?
