WinMX music downloads?

Anybody use WinMX to download music? I haven't been on it for a few months, and I just tried to get on it a few minutes ago, and it just says "connecting... " and nothing happens. I'm using their "version 3. 53," and I thought maybe that version was outdated. I went to winmx.com to see if there's an updated version of their software, and I got "page not found. "

Is WinMX still around? Anybody get on it lately?

I use it. THere's a lot of phony files out there to clog the system. Search google and read about the issues. There's a couple of forums dedicated to it. I don't remember what they are.

I used it for a LONG time, and it use to do that to me also. Go to download.com and look for the program, and even if it is the same version then go ahead and install it again. That's what I use to do.

I use iTunes, the PC version.
