Anyone have any stories this winter yet?



Didn't really smoke anyone for any reason. Just trying to get home.



Farking lights in MN sensored, make no sence, waste so much fuel and time and freaking upset me like no other. So, to ease my frustration of missing only 3 stops in the 6 mile stretch I drive (there are lights just about ever 1/2 mile) I filled up the cylinders up with a little extra fuel.



Rolling 3rd gear at 1400rpm, light turns green to my amazement, I step into about 3/4 throttle, just enough to blacken things out and let out of it just before boost encouraged my tires to break lose, Woooosh from the turbo and grabbed 4th and layed into again.

Nextel chirps: "I SAW THAT!!!!!" My girlfriend got some of it while she's at the light getting off 100 (bass lake and 100 bridge heading east bound).



ME: Now isn't that perty?



Her: I thought I saw you truck then I saw the smoke and knew it was you!

But I can "radio" in to canada, mexico, and across the country. In areas were analog and brick cellsphones are common, most of Kansas, possibly Montana, the nextels now adays use device to device communication with out the cell towers, just like hand held walkie talkies you grew up with as a kid (or string and can, depending on your age)

Lady was tailgating me and showing me that she had her moonroof open. She was waving her hand at people as they drove by in sub freezing weather. I gave her a little blip to let her know I knew she was back there. She got closer. i layed into it. I wached the smoke as it rolled up over her hood and got sucked down inside her car.

She was not a happy camper.

As far as tailgater's, I just slow down. I'm typically getting tailgated while I'm doing 10 over. So I slow down to 5 under and creep back up to the speed limit. When they go around, I speed back up to 10 over or what ever. This morning some tool did that and he actually landed farther back in traffic and hit an extra light. Shoulda just backed off

You need to get the Hot upgrade and an EZ to get some real smoke with an edge setup

Call edge, ensure you have the latest version numbers and fixes applied, even if there are not any codes yet (like a windozes computer). This alone got me some power and smoke Wish I've done that prior to dyno day tho.

Ok guys... I have had a few good smoke stories now and then but I think that this one takes the cake just because of what this guy did... .



I am driving back home from the grocery today just minding my own business, had some Skynyrd on the radio so I was off in my own little world so to speak. Anyways, I am driving down clayton rd(1 lane opening up in to 2)towards 141 rolling through the intersection at Baxter. This guy pulls up next to me at the next light giving me a thumbs down motion and waving his hand in front of his face. I am sitting there just looking at this guy like what is the issue here(my windows are 5% all the way around, so he couldn't see me)... . I wasn't trying to dump out smoke on him... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ..... yet. :-laf Maybe I was driving energetically due to the music? Well the light turns green I let him roll ahead of me a bit and I get next to him in 4th and lay in it a little just enough to show him that I saw his little hand gestures and didn't appreciate it. Then he tries to speed up and pass me... ... . please, are you really trying to out run me?



Well needless to say I easily stay right beside him until we come up on 2 cars in front of us, 1 in each lane. We end up slowing down like 25 or 30 and the car in front of me moves into the left turn lane..... I am ****** at this guy now and its time to get even. I just happen to see a flag down the street telling me that the wind is also in my favor... . I turn the fuel all the way up and pull next to the car in front of him but back enough that my pipe is aimed right at him. I stand on top of the peddle and his little car just disappears. I don't think it could have been any better if I wanted it to. Oo.

yea really, i was noticing today that i gotta crank back on the afc since it was in the mid 70s today, i could roll on it in 4th from a low roll and black out several lanes at once with the dual exhaust :-laf

once it warms up, all should be well!!!

Ok, i just read ALL 93 PAGES!!!!! of this thread... i can't believe it. Nobody around here screws around with me, or will play with me. I guess my truck looks to intimidating... . I'll have a story for sure once it warm,s up a bit more though. KEEP THIS THREAD GOING!!!!! Im going to rate it at 5 again

I was with Highfinance97 last week we were going to pick up his truck. As we were going down the main street I noticed about 50 feet ahead one of those anoying people dressed up like the statue of liberty in her nice aqua blue gown and foam hat wit the pointy things on it, advertisong for liberty tax services. My truck has 2 switches that control the transmission 4th gear and one for the convertor lockup. We were moving at about 35 mph so i didnt have it in 4th gear but when I saw her I slowed to like 25 mph grabbed the lockup switch and mashed the pedal to the floor and turned the statue of liberty tax woman black (not african american black soot black). She was waiving her torch to make it go away but I didnt see her on the way back.
