I changed the hubs when I did the ball joints. I knew they would be a problem.

Spent two days on this project in the driveway. I troched the bearing from the

front side. burning and blowing away hub material until finally one hit with the

big hammer, it fell out. I'm glad I'm not the only one with this problem, but

also saddened that the FACTORY couldn't spend a penny on some anti-sieze.
How about a better bearing and anti-seize? Our Honda's going on 200K with unitized bearings.

Same with my wifes VW, although I did have to change one at around 225k. Could have been partially due to the caliper that stuck on that side and cooked the brakes. It was toast within about 10k miles of the stuck caliper. Drivers side is still original.
I actually like the hub set up on them, you can replace both bearings rather than the entire assembly, at roughly half the cost of a complete hub.. And the bearings are massive considering the weight of the car.
