I am lost too. I don't know who is in charge of the location, the communications company or the county. Note the aerial cable and there is a security fence behind the machine, he can only turn 45 degrees to dump the bit. When they finish with the 6' bit they will be about a foot from the wall.

It sounds like they have two options. Pour it full of slurry then redrill and keep doing that until they hit the 22' depth or use a 6'x22' casing and dill inside it or both. The casing is $20k and who knows how far out.

My son grabbed lunch for all of us at A&W, so I was pigging out on that last load and he snuck 7 buckets in on me, I want 5 or 6. About 30k gcw. It dumped really well. I was leery with the front full. The trailer is the 22k PJ. Love those double pumps.

Running into setbacks like this would drive me crazy! Remember this one, another difficult location. The property owner is the communications tower owner. After it was built, they covered it in fake tree limbs to camouflage it. I laugh every time I drive by it. A casual glance and it does look like a tree It took forever to get the permit due to public resistance, jeezzz....

Hauled off 6 more loads of mud yesterday. The 7'x10' pipe went in the top of the hole with the 6'x22' pipe inside that. The tower mount has 10, 2.5"x8' bolts. He starts another base tomorrow. It will be a large triangle, with three, 24" holes.

Been busy hauling logs this past week. Hauled 8 loads in and 2 out so far. 4 more are sorted and ready to deliver.

Got the buy of a lifetime. '99 Logan two horse slant load trailer, very little use. Been parked for 7 years. Tires were good but old, so we installed a new set. Hercules 225/75x15 10 ply, ($612 out the door) Dexter 3500 lbs. torsion, two axle brakes and 6 hole wheels. Marker lights are faded so I will replace all of them. Powder coat peeled off two of the wheels, kinda looks bad but...

Log loading 101. First, don't overload yourself I have 116 logs to deliver in 4 loads, so that means each load needs to average 29 logs. My first load was 28, I was heavy....2nd load was 30, it was fine. I have two more today.

Note the side wall log placement. Every log is supported by the log under it clear to the floor. If you don't do that you stress the sidewalls. You need to pick and choose each log, by size and either butt ahead or butt back.

Ya don't need a 4th gen to haul heavy, (32k GCW). About 40 years ago. 1974 F-350 with 428 gasser, 4.56 geared GM 14 bolt, NP435 transmission and 3spd aux. Picked up in Seattle and delivered to Lakeside, Arizona.

Then about 10 years later, same size load with the same truck, Cummins, exhaust brake, 5spd Clark, Dana 70 HD 4.10 gears and 3 spd aux. Redding California to Lakeside. Way better truck

With the monsoon rains over and the driveway damage they cause, I have been fairly busy hauling cinders. Just finished up one customer with 13 loads. 10 miles off highway and slow county highways, so fuel milage is good. Loaded with about 26.5k and 15,750 lbs empty, I averaged 13.81 MPG on three round trips. 307 miles, 22.22 gal, the display said 14.2. 19.5k miles on the '21.

Modified my dump trailer jack drive with a standard 1.5" x 10 spline manual slack adjuster and drive it with my cordless drill, works good. I think they are geared at about 24-1. Kinda slow but so is the manual crank.

My Lamar dump got new tires and the PJ got new batteries. Went with Sailun S637's, 75 mph rated, this time, lot of recommendations on here for this tire, so I thought I would try them. Had to order one battery, oem was 550 cca, new ones are 800, group 24M. Tires are 235/75x17.5 16 ply, 17/32's tread, upgrade over the oem's @ 215/75x17.5.

Installed the long arm kit but I have to pull at least two springs out, it is way too stout with all four, I could only crank it about 3/4 forward. Then I can finish the final adjustment. The fit and finish is really good other than the 90 degree elbows, they are too tight. You have to grind them some for a slip fit. It is a universal kit, so you have to cut and drill holes for your application.

Installed another slack adjuster to my dump trailer. This time to my tarp crank, works good.

Broke an eyelet on the left rear spring on the Lamar dump. 4k spring and 8k axles. No clue how/why that happened. I went ahead and replaced as a pair. Genuine Dexter, made in China

Now that this is my primary trailer, I have been shopping for 5k springs. Mostly I am trying to get more loaded bed height, the new larger tires helped me by 1/2". The best price I could find is $500 for a full set. So, I disassembled my spares and added the third leaf in the pack to my rear springs and the 4th leaf to my front, should give me about 4.5k spring. It only helped my lift by 1/4" empty, hopping for maybe 1/2" loaded.

The plastic bushing in the new springs were junk, plumb worn out already, the nylon ones that I installed were fine but I replaced them again anyway.

Also talking with Diamond C trailers for one of their high flow pumps. They are designed for the telescopic cylinders, so only power up and gravity down but I think they will be fine on my scissors. They worked with KTI pumps in the design, so they have an exclusive on this pump. About a 50% increase in cycle time over the standard pumps.
