2025 4500/5500

No heat in cab

My RAM Diesel mechanic said the 12k lifts work MUCH better than the 10k for our trucks. If course he uses them every day. He said they had to up grade the 10k to a larger motor to do the job.

My manual only goes through 2016, so may not be applicable to Nick’s MY.

No problem lifting it with my 10k, no motor change needed... just be mindful of COG and use safety stands. Have worked on several truck both my Rams, the work truck and a few friends ranging from 9000~7500lbs

Do your homework though, as has been said, its a lot of coin to throw down, my Bendpak XPR-10A was just north of $3500 when I bought it with the tall vehicle column extensions (14') but now is almost $6k. FWIW, I thought is was a lot of money then, but having it now 5yrs, one of my best / favorite tools I bought... Kinda like tractor grapples, hyd. top links, etc... you dont know how you got by without them once you have em.

Well, the truck will be a year old tomorrow, a little under 16k miles and I need a set of tires already:( A flat last week and a flat today that they can't fix, so new tires are going on in the morning. 6-7 32's is all that's left. I was hoping to get a few more miles but no such luck. Plus registration and a years worth of insurance, my lift is on hold:D

do they have any treadwear warranty....

I didn't even ask since they are not a Firestone dealer. What I have found in the past, is, they want them down to the wear bars before they will consider it. Discount tire is more lenient then this shop.

$1178 out the door for Hercules Terra Trac AT's, 16/32's tread, 3640 lbs, in 275/70x18. "For Cummins 12v98, made in USA":) I did not purchase the road hazard.

I ran two sets of HT2's on my '98. Neither set made 30K miles.

Same here , two sets ,two different trucks of Firestone OE's neither seen 30K . Replaced a set of of Toyo AT2's a couple months ago with a set of Cooper AT3 XLT's. So far I'm impressed with the way they handle . Was not impressed at all with the Toyo's with mileage, also paid about the same for them 5 years ago that I did for the Coopers . Hopefully I will get some better mileage out of these Coopers . They were 1168.81 after a $70 rebate from Cooper . I to do not buy road hazard ,never have. Money ahead so far. :D

To add , the Coopers are also made in the US. That should please 12V.
