20 k and 2 year Indy service on truck today

Where to begin. Always learning something new on a new truck I guess. All my oil and filter 2 fuel filters Mobil atf 7 quart drain and fill took it right to the mark hot . 2,5 gallons right to the safe mark as I told them not to over fill rotate tires leave spare under truck. They did everything I ask perfect $435 just labor. All on things I used to do myself and rather enjoyed doing but to old now sad really. Any way of concern to me there were two codes. P2609-00 Intake Air Heater Performance stored. Remember I had the grid heater relay disconnected for sometime. No fires in my garage .I think that is from doing that? Also P 2560-00 Engine Coolant Level low -stored. I guess I need a gallon of anti freeze to top it up a bit. What kind of antifreeze do I need and where is the coolant reservoir . The owners manuel doesn’t really say. It appears it’s that stupid looking white thing above the turbo on the firewall by the battery passenger side. Im happy to say I’m glad we have computers now but life without them was a bit easier.Thank for any help

I just ordered a gallon of mopar 10year 150 000 miles on Amazon should be here in a day or two. Truck is cooled down now. It’s definitely on the low mark or below will top up and monitor. Time will tell

Just curious of your reasoning for changing your transmission early?

I think you said you were going to switch to Amsoil?

I had a case of Mobil Amsoil next time. Does not the maintence schedule 24 month or 30000 miles. Isn’t 2 years 24 months? What am I missing here

Just checked my oil level cold level floor in garage. Just to the top of the safe mark on the stick . 2.5 gallons of oil and a Indy that listens to me duh cause I pay him Perfection

That's because Chrysler thinks all trucks ordered with an Aisin are hard working work trucks. That's why that interval is so short.

Well I can’t go shorter. I will void my warranty . Added 1 quart of 10 year /150 k anti freeze to top fill of hot coolant reservoir. Will see what it kooks like after driving and cool down tonight

I don't see anything about time for the transmissions, either one, just miles. Maybe the '21 book is different than '22?

And yes you shouldn't change from the mandatory schedule, it is like it is.

Yes with good maintence the transmission will out live my driving time. A good thing

Well I added 1.5 quarts anti freeze. I’m at the mark level cold. After running it etc. Time will tell if I have a leak or not I guess. I ran truck pretty hot this summer going into Eagle Alaska 60 miles and out 60 miles. Temps of 204-206 coolant gauge

Temperature changes, especially in the ranges you are living in have a great impact on the level.
Your summer to your winter sure let's the volume shrink a lot.

Terry, I'd just drive the truck and enjoy it. You really have a beautiful truck.

When you fill up the washer reservoir, that's the best time to give a once over on all the fluids.

Actually I had never checked the reservoir in two years 20 k I’m bad I thought like new truck right. Closed system right I love this new truck and how it drives
