I don't see anything about time for the transmissions, either one, just miles. Maybe the '21 book is different than '22?

Funny I didnt see it either.. but when I went back and double checked sure enough it was there... 24 mo / 30k miles... I did mine this year.. about 29 mo.. but I only saw the 30k miles and oh well... fluid was clean.. amsoil went in and its checked off... I guess I'll have to do it again next year to be on that "48 mo cycle.....

After my warranty is over another 6 years and 40 k. I think I will go to much longer change intervals and do miles instead of time. I drove it a lot the last two years because it was new. You always play with the new toys the most right.I will be 80 by then still hope I’m here to drive and can drive. Only way this truck will get wore out if someone else buys it

This is the 2021 manual, reads the same as the 2022 and the 2018 I had. Every service interval has a months and a miles, it’s whichever comes first.

I'm surprised it only took 2.5 gallons of oil. I just did my 22 SO 6.7 and it took 3.0 gallons exactly to the full mark. Does the HO hold less oil?

No, it should take 3 gallons. If it takes less than 11.5 quarts it likely wasn’t properly drained. 11.75-12 quarts is the norm, for right at the full line. I usually dump 11.5 quarts and idle it to fill the filter, let it drain back for a while and add the other .5 quart, but this last change it only took 11.9 quarts.

Only taking 10 quarts points to an issue with procedure. This was pointed out last year for @Turbo Terry. Either his mechanic doesn’t know how to change oil on a 6.7 properly, or he’s adding the makeup oil since he was only given 2.5 gallons and not telling Terry. I’m voting on the latter.

By the book 3 gallons.2.5 Exactly to the top of the safe mark

If this is the case they dropped the plug and as soon as it was a slow stream they replaced the plug! Letting mine drain overnight the total fill is 11 2/3 quarts to be exactly on the full mark on level shop floor and cold.

Where to begin. Always learning something new on a new truck I guess. All my oil and filter 2 fuel filters Mobil atf 7 quart drain and fill took it right to the mark hot . 2,5 gallons right to the safe mark as I told them not to over fill rotate tires leave spare under truck. They did everything I ask perfect $435 just labor. All on things I used to do myself and rather enjoyed doing but to old now sad really. Any way of concern to me there were two codes. P2609-00 Intake Air Heater Performance stored. Remember I had the grid heater relay disconnected for sometime. No fires in my garage .I think that is from doing that? Also P 2560-00 Engine Coolant Level low -stored. I guess I need a gallon of anti freeze to top it up a bit. What kind of antifreeze do I need and where is the coolant reservoir . The owners manuel doesn’t really say. It appears it’s that stupid looking white thing above the turbo on the firewall by the battery passenger side. Im happy to say I’m glad we have computers now but life without them was a bit easier.Thank for any help

I just had my truck serviced at the Carson Dodge Dealer and they told me I was low on coolant, topped it off, pressure tested the system and said I was good to go. I'm also getting a faint very faint coolant smell which I mentioned when I bought the truck. Have a big road trip coming in two weeks and decided to bring it back in just to make sure i'm good. I'm currious as to why it was low and what caused the issue? Have you found out how your's went low on coolant? I dont like "not" having answers and I'm still not sure if I trust my dealer!

Checked the plastic "Wye" connectors for cracks right? That smell was the first sign when mine went bad. Might not be obvious if it's really a hairline crack at this point, I don't know, but I know it's a common fail.

I’m actually at my truck now and just gave it another look. I you’re saying check the Wye connections? Any specific areas, I’m still not that familiar with this new model, it’s a lot more crowded then all my 5.9’s! I’ll have a look right now

Your 2020 doesn't have them, I think 2014 was the last year of that radiator style.

Mine was 1..5 quarts low. I never could smell anti freeze at all. I topped it up a couple times and have drove it enough now that I think it’s ok. I read that they have had a coolant reservoir leak problem also. Honestly I have drove my truck 20 k in 2 years and never checked its level. My Indy said I had a low coolant level code or I would not had really known about it. Still learning about this truck and having the reservoir way back on the firewall was kind of confusing to me. I did some serious grades last summer. Watched the temp gauge got pretty hot going up but cooled right down again. Never got any codes on dash. If I was worried about a leak I would carry some spare antifreeze maybe on a trip. Hope this helps

Mine was delivered a little low, I think less than a quart. I would get an occasional low coolant message on the dash when it was cold and/or I was nose up on a steep hill.
