Well the "Saga" may be officially over.

Sitting at a red light, first in line. Light turns green, I start to cross going west in the right hand lane. I make it 72' into the intersection and a driver going south in their right hand lane fails to stop at the light.
Original estimate came in at $5500 for repairs. I knew the front frame end had a slight bend to them, now they have it on the rack to find out if it's DOA, or within acceptable limits. The person I talked to at the shop said "If had been a Cummins, they would drop a frame in it - no question. Since it's a gasser...."
The driver was OK, at least at the time, she was up and around. Older lady, late 60's early 70's. Her passenger was unconscious for a couple minutes and was transported to the local hospital. I presume she is OK, No external bleeding from anyone.
My left knee found the dash, and was a little tender, but OK. My airbags did not deploy. I was able to drive the truck home. All the lights worked (it did break the mounts of both headlights) and the only "cooler " damage was the A/C condenser that after 80 miles was still hissing a little when I got it home, and the steering had a slight pull to the left and the steering wheel was off by about 15*.
I'm gonna be real P.O.'d if they total it. 71k miles on this truck, and only one time did the CEL come on and give me attitude (CPS code) that went away after a restart and I cleared the code back at 60k miles.
Never mind that I am still upside down on it (I owe $26k, trade in is...was $25, and private party retail was $26k ish). These Hemi Trucks absolutely do not hold their value at all. The value drops about as fast as I make payments on it.
