I have the limited slip/anti-slip 3.42. No vibration. Smooth as silk to 90 mph. Haven't tried any faster.

Maybe see if someone without the antislip diff has vibration?

Both my 2014 and 2016 identical trucks were/are smooth as glass, up to about 90 mph, even with the god awful Firestones..........

Latest update: took front and rear driveshafts to a drivetrain shop and had them checked out. Both driveshafts were fine. So we can cross those off the list of possibilities. Very frustrating.

I just wanted to join in the fun. I traded my 2012 Ram Cummins for a 2016 Ram 4x4 crew cab cummins ( no air level system). it vibrated. it would come and go. 18 tires, three different brands, one new rear drive shaft, one new wheel, and at least a dozen road force balance jobs. The dealer offered to replace the truck and said that I should have ordered the air leveling system. I paid the difference and got a 2017 exact same truck. I went to get the 2017 truck and the dealer said just take both home and swap my stuff. the 2017 was worse than the 2016. it is February 6, 2017 and the truck is in the shop today. I put it in the shop this past Friday and the dealer road force balanced the tires and the tech and I took it for a 15 mile drive. We both drove it and it still vibrates. The vibration does come and go. if anything is resolved, I will let the group know.

I have a 2017 Ram 2500 CC,6'4" box with 18 inch rims and the rear air leveling system and it is smooth as silk. Maybe the dealer knows something when they suggested you should have ordered the air leveling system? Good luck with your issue.

How much air pressure is in the rear tires? Try them at 45 lbs empty. 55-60 in the front. SNOKING

What brand tire are you running?
i have played with the air pressure in both front and rear. When the tech rode with me we changed the ride height and it did not change the vibration. None of my air pressure changes made any change.

I'm running the factory Firestone Transforce AT. Front tires are currently set at 72psi and rears at 65psi (this is cold tire pressures). It sounds like the dealer needs to get Ram engineering involve with your issue, obviously you should not be having this issue with a new truck let alone two of them. I have had good success with Ram engineering getting involve when the dealer could not figure out issues with previous trucks I've owned.

Must ride like a brick truck with that much inflation empty. Put 60 in the front and 45 in the rear and take it for a ride! SNOKING

No, does not ride like a brick. Rear has air leveling system, rides and handles very well for a 2500. I'm sure I could get a little better ride with less air pressure but I prefer a compromise between ride and tire wear and so far this is working out quite well for me.

I have over 25K on FS AT's and they are wearing much better than all the reports I have read on them. I will put the tread gauge to them tomorrow, I think they are approaching 50% tread remaining. That is three round trips from Washington to Arizona, two with 5th wheels and one with box trailer. High speed run from dealer in Colorado home to Washington. I had left the fronts at 65 and rears at 55 after the trip home at Christmas. Sunday I let them back down more and the ride was noticeable better. So I do not think the lower pressures is effecting tire wear.

Just spotted this thread. Add me to the list. Never noticed until I changed the tires to Nitto Terra Grappler and took a 2500 mile road trip with about 500lb in back. Rear air suspension felt like it quit as it would bottom out hard over almost any dip with a loud thump. First felt the vibes when going up a long grade at highway speed. Since I got back, the suspension doesn't bottom out (no load) but the vibration is still there, especially when accelerating. Going to the dealer asap to check the suspension.
Thought I was crazy or just paranoid about the vibration (and/or related somehow to the suspension) so thank you all for being here.

UPDATE:
I went to check on my truck at the dealer at 5:15 on the 8th. They said that they rotated the drive shaft, I assume 180 degrees but I did not ask that specific. They test drove and did not have the vibration. Ready for me to pick up!
I had ask the dealer if they had vibration analysis or diagnostic equipment and the response was NO. I researched it and found this information: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VXfMghCyzGk
I purchased the app for my Iphone. I used the app on my wife's SRX while heading to the dealership where I left my truck. Perfectly smooth.
The app is NVH Viibraton Diagnosis. I used it on my truck for the short trip home and to work this morning.
As previously stated, my vibration would come and go.
The app will allow you to record the data and play it back, and you can down load the data in a CSV file format and open in Excel.
The 10 mile drive to work indicated very little vibration now.
But I do have the app to record when it does show up.
Lots of good info on the NVH facebook account.

I recently purchased a 2016 RAM 1500 Bighorn Ecodiesel 4x4 crewcab and after the first 1,000 miles I noticed a vibration at 60 mph +. I have since taken the truck to 3 different dealership service departments. Two shops took it for a test drive and gave it back to me saying that is drives like a truck. One of the shops did balance/rotate the tires (road force balance, etc.) but this did not improve the ride. Third dealership replaced the front shafts and again ... vibration is still noticable. Very annoying after spending this much money for this truck. The truck is stock with Goodyear SRA's. I would like to see a FCA/RAM step up, acknowledge this issue and fix it!

Have you gotten any news on fixing the issue I have a 2016 megacab sport with the same issue . Dealer just replaced drive shaft and said it still vibrates and nothing else they can do

Nothing ... I think FCA is too busy dealing with the federal lawsuit to put any effort into acknowledging and diagnosing this vibration issue.

Add me to the list. Mine vibrated with the stock Firebombs so I bought some Toyo AT2s. Had them road forced balanced to all zeros. Still vibrates as described as a pulsating vibration at freeway speeds. I too looked the transmission/transfer case mounts and noticed they are extremely soft and allow a LOT of play or movement of the drivetrain. I'd sure like to find a solution to this problem, I love the truck but hate this vibration! Oh, and I don't think it matters but I have the limited slip rear axle too.

Just bought a new one Saturday and have the same issue. Two days in the shop started last Tuesday 7/25 and picked up last night 7/26 and still does the same thing. They tell me it is "normal" and these truck ride rough... Complete bull @#$%

They tell me they took another one out from the lot that did the same thing. Traded in my 2015.5 Denali Duramax for the shaking 72K truck.....

Road Forced balanced the tires. Found 3 of the four to be out of spec still after they played with them. Got one down to 7lbs and the rest around 45. They said 35lbs is max. Trucks still shakes at 73 just as it did before even after getting the tires set better. The tire shop recommends replacing my tires.

Truck is going back into the shop for them to try more things! Have had a loaner more than my new truck...
