My 99 has pulled to the right since I got it. I've tried to get it corrected, but I'm always told that it was designed that way. After 170,000 miles it's time to rebuild the front end. I have finally found a someone who says he will fix it, once I've put the new parts in.
Next I get to look for new leather for the steering wheel, left side is worn out.
01 QC 4x4 2500 new PSC steering box, track bar, Source Automotive steering stabilizer all before 60,000 don't replace the steering box with anything close to the stock box

'02 100k 18yr old daughter describes as "sticky". does not self center. Allis tight, alignment pro says all looks good. There is a service bulletin out regarding toe -in that I will see if he knows about.
2001 with 85,000 miles, still drives as straight as the day I bought it, very little wander. Never rotate tires and have no cupping or uneven wear. Original track bar and steering components. Installed a steering brace when new and keep everything well greased. Changed steering fluid to synthetic when new. No offroading, shes a pavement princess set up for towing. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones with no problems.
97 2500 club cab, 4x4 with 180,000 miles. No problems with steering. Replaced ball joints and shocks at 150,000 miles due to normal wear. No re-alignment, no track bar, nothing but ball joints and shocks. PK
2001 2500 Sport Quad Cab : Not a wandering problem just that the steering is ridiculously tight i replaced the steering box to match the steering shaft i already replaced and it got worse i am pretty sure its the pump though. Thats my next move.
99 short bed extended cab, 180,000 miles. Luke's link seems to have cured the steering situation for the time being. No adverse wear on the tires, never been aligned.
