What is a "real man"?

I've seen a few ads in the paper and thought this might be worth doing for some extra money. Does it pay decently? Most of the ads say you need your own plow, I know that's not cheap, at least for a new one... so there's definitely some startup cost. How do the contracts work? How does it affect your insurance? Just wondering if it would be worth looking into at all...

Our very own John DiMartino is over there also, along with, his brother, Vinnie DiMartino. Orange County Choppers/Discovery Channel. Ring a Bell?

John's a great guy with a lot of knowledge. Their are a few TDR boy's over there. Since I sold my plow business this year I have not been on the site recently but last year I visited daily.

The guys I know that did it did not make that much $$, it all depends on how much snow you get. They also tear up there trucks fairly bad. Most of the guys that do it for a serious living here in Alaska either trade in there trucks before they show much sign of wear or buy old beater 4x4's to use as plow trucks.

ok, looks like it's prolly not something I want to get into. I kinda figured there was more to it than just "bring a truck and a plow and make millions", and there's alot more to it than I'm willing to deal with at the moment just for a few extra bucks. Thanks for the replies.
