I failed two stress test, last one with a echo too. Went into the hospital on Friday to get a Cardiac Catheterization and a possible Stent. Well... ... the doctors say I am just slow. No Stent my arterys are just fine and not blocked. My heart is just a little slow. Everyone always said I was a little slow and I will take that. That's my story and I am sticking to it. :-laf

Congrats on no heart probs! My uncle had gone to the Dr. for a physical last week and had mentioned about shortness of breath, didn't feel well, etc. Two days later, he was under the knife for quadruple heart bypass surgery. To look at him, he is thin, in great shape, and doesn't smoke. One never knows...

Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. I'm on medication for the rest of my life. Diet and excercize, in addition to the meds, is the best bet (assuming you can't choose new parents).

I had a very similar experience back in Oct. Kept feeling tightness in the chest and arms when out walking for exercise. It had gone on for a couple of years or so. Did two stress tests and passed with no problems then finally went in to a cardiologist and had the dye stress test and sonogram. All was well except for a blip in the EKG. Dr. wanted me in the hospital the next week for a followup cardiac cath where they discovered a 90% blockage in the main artery to the left ventricle. The so called "widow maker"!! So they installed a stent and I am back going strong!! With many thanks to the Good Lord, good doctors, and an article in Outdoor Life outlining heart attack symptoms, I hope to be here for quite a while longer.

Guys and gals too, don't ignore the symptoms cause you could end up a lawn ornament bout like I did!!!
