2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission BHAF vs K&N: Thoughts

Today I replaced my K&N filter with a Wix BHAF. It really quieted the turbo down, but it seems like its getting more boost. With the K&N I was getting about 35 PSI max on a day like today (40's, rainy), but today I got 37 after I put the BHAF on.



Not too sure what to make of this, I miss the sound, but the extra boost makes up for it. :-laf

i hear the K&N lets in so much dust that is not worth the money. the BHAF filters better, but is not reusable.

I like the filtering and the sound my aFe Stage I filter setup and Torque Tube gave. The turbo is much louder than the stock replacement K&N that came on the truck when I bought it. I can really hear it sing now.

Yeah I heard the same about the K&N, thats why I went to the BHAF.

Look at the Amsoil Nanofiber filters, they work great and are easily cleaned, no oiling!
