I had Revos on my 1500 years ago but not on my 2500, anyone have pro's or con's on "E" rated Brigestones?

I just price a new set of Bridgstone Revo LT285/70-17 E, mounted and balance for $885. 00 (+ or -). Prices are good until the end of the month.

after trying Coopers discovery's (reat long lasting just don't drive in the rain really slick) and then ProComp's (great in the rain and snow just did not last) I gave a set of Bridgestone Dullers a try. Oh, I'm running 317-70-17's on my 2005 ram. I found that they live up to their clame of being a top quality tire. They are one of two load range "E" tires available in the 315 size. Firestone Destanations are the other only no one had them in stock. I've got 20,000 miles on them now and they look just like new, nice and quiet great in the snow and rain. They don't seem to feather the outer edge as bad as all the other tires I've tried on my trucks over the years. also haven't needed to be re ballanced.

I really like my Bridgestone Duravis tires. I rotate them every other oil change, but they wear like a brick. I have roughly 45K on them right now and I am pretty sure I can make it through till spring without having to replace them. I put roughly 14-15K miles on a year (mostly empty highway miles, some towing). I don't think you could go wrong with the Bridgestones.

I just put 4 Revos on my wife's Liberty CRD. Extensively researched the decision, even buying one extra tire from Tire Rack first, so I could examine it in person and see how it mounted on the spare rim. Net-net, I came to the conclusion that the Revos were a very good tire for the price point.



There is one thing I recall seeing that could be pertinent though, comments that the Revo might not take heavy loads well. I wasn't worried about that for the little Jeep, but I think I would read more on that issue for a truck that frequently carries heavier loads or that tows.

I've got revos on my '06 and my '97. I love the tires. Hauled heavy loads with both trucks and have had zero wear problems.

I just put a set of 315/70/17 on mine. 1k miles and love them so far.

For a 315 they balanced out supper!
