Oklahoma

Ill be there the 14th-19th

I didnt spot anyone but maybe you can spot me. I will be in Colorado next week. I leave Texas Saterday night March 13th and will get there some time Sunday morning. Not sure of the exact route Im taking but I know I have to go threw Denver and then West to Frisco. Me and a couple of firends are going skiing at Copper for spring break. So if you see a blue 3rg Gen with a TDR badge on the grill and Texas paltes it will be me. Lets see if yall can find me, hope someone can.

Justin,

Hope you have a good time. The weather should be good. We are supposed to get some snow this weekend.

If you're not used to driving in the snow, just remember: shiny side goes up, rubber side goes down. ;) :p

Scott

Thanks Scott Ill keep that little info in mind. The snow is the only thing that I am worried about. Coming from Texas we dont get to much here, we acually got some last month and I was drivng around tell like 3 in the morning, told everyone I was getting ready for Colorado (it was part that and part I just like to drive). Ill be looking for those TDR grill badges hope to see someone. T-minus 3 days

I saw InThinAir this morning.

He was merging onto 285 at Kennedy Gluch right in front of me. He was driving his "comuter" Dodge. This is the first time I've spotted him and he lives less than a 1/2 mile from me. Howdy neighbor. Sandbrew

PS Did you ever locate your stolen ATV?

CTDs and shooting

How about spotting a few CTDs at the shooting spot by Buffalo Creek this Sat the 20th around 10 or 11 am? Weather permitting of course.

Sticks,

I believe we're thinking of the same place. You go through Pine and Buffalo Creek and then it's a little ways away on the north side of the road. KBennett gave GPS numbers earlier if that helps. It wouldn't help me!

GPS does not help me either. The road is just after a guardrail on the right (heading towards Deckers) and marked with a 6" sign with a white "X"?

Is this a guys only thing, or can I bring the 'ol lady. Shooting is one of the two outdoorsy things we like.

Guys and gals as far as I'm concerned. One or both of my sons are coming and the wife is welcome too! I'm not sure about the signs though. Sorry I'm not more help. I'll PM you with directions.

I wanna go!

I may be able to go, still working out plans. I have a case of 12 guage shells to use up. It is about 20 min from my parent's house. I will let you guys know closer to Sat!

I am bringing my woman and the boys. I will bring some clay pigeons and a hand thrower.

Here are fairly accurate directions from Denver taken with an odometer:

285 thru Conifer. Left on Pine Valley Rd (Hwy 126).

Reset odometer.

At 6. 1 miles is the town of Pine.

At 9. 5 miles is Buffalo Creek Rd.

At 12. 2 miles is Spring Creek Trail.

At 14. 5 miles should be the entrance to the range on the right at the bottom of the hill.

Again the GPS coordinates are N39* 19. 794' / W105* 15. 072'

Spotted a green quad cab 4x4, headache rack, Southbound I-25 just north of Briargate, Colorado Springs. You had your arm out and waiving, didn't know if you were waiving at me though, no TDR badges I could see. I was in my 99 red, standard cab, toolbox 2500.

So is it just us 4 heading to Pine to shoot? Sticks, crobertson, kbennet, me... ?

I do plan on going, though something may come up in the meantime. But count me in! I will not have a chance to grab my shotgun so I may just enjoy the day and watch you guys blow stuff to pieces.

Sorry guys, I'm out. Wife just informed me we have no money to buy ammo for my . 44, and I need more for my SKS as well. I may still try to show up if I can keep her from adding to "THE LIST"

Aint married life fun!

What time is everyone planning on showing up?

I don't know. If I swing by my parent's to grab my 12 guage I may be a bit later but if I come straight there then around 10 or so.

My brother is working with me these next couple days and is staying at home so maybe he can bring it down for me...

A 12 guage in the toolbox is perfectly legal, right?

sticks,

Married life is wonderful:D

I just did some inventory and I have 50 rounds of . 44 mag. They are reloads I made for my Dad a few years back and they have been sitting in the safe. They are lead and are not full power but if you are shooting them through a revolver or lever gun you should have no problems except enjoying the FREE ammo. Just give me the empty cases back so I can make more. I can't help you with the 7. 62X39.

Nick,

Just make sure the gun is unloaded and put it in something to keep it from getting banged up.

A couple of my other friends are coming so we should have plenty of hardware to go around.

Sticks, You're in! My brother and his friend might be coming as well and you guys can shoot anything of mine you want too.

Nick, I plan on being there right around 10.

Kirk, what time are you planning on?

Craig
