We all had to learn somehow, asking questions just accelrates the learning curve.
Feed tubes by rights should be replaced with injectors but not always a need to deal. As long as the tips aren't messed up and they clean up with some scotch brite or fine sand paper the only thing you really need to worry about is splitting under pressure or the edge filters in them plugging. If you split one you will have a no start, it won't build enough rail pressure to ever fire the engine. The ECU needs to see around 3000 psi to even fire the injectors. If you don't have a long crank start the feeds tubes are likely not the problem.
Some basic tools and the job is not that bad, an over engine creeper is a real bonus when working on these trucks and th erest is just basic hand tools and a TQ wrench. The deal is if you tear it down to the point you need to check TQ on the tubes, remove the injector line, back the tube nut off, remove the exhaust rocker, loosen then tighten the injector in the correct sequence you are most of the way there to pull the injectors.
I would get a contribution test done then proceed form there. You might see one that is obvious and needs some attention and that could be the only one. Depends on whether you want the experience and practice and have the time.
