Dealer won't give me my truck

99. 9%of the time the SERVICE DEPT has NO clue to what goes on in sales. Service manager and rest of service dept may be cut on a WHOLE different cloth then the SALES MANAGER. So don't assume service is the same. Could be but probably not.

Called dealer this week and asked about getting the $750. 00 below invoice and they said "Yea".



But after the person talked to the Gen Manager about doing it again, he was not going to do it again and put up with the head ache.



So, I'm going to wait a couple weeks and order an "05 from Tomeygun and be done with it. I was hoping to purchase locally, but they have a very sour attitude toward TDR members.



Nice people to talk with and I am sorry this avenue has soured. It would have been great to keep a great thing going. It would have been just a simple transaction, no resale, just sign and drive away.

Try the dealer that I found in Tampa, Fl. . Jerry Elm Dodge and the salesman Was Tim Smetana. I ordered a 3500 4x4 Dually SLT in Dec. 03, I did this over the phone from Calif. had a price in 20 minutes and a signed order. The truck was built on Jan. 22,04 and didn't arrive in florida until April,15. This unit has the 325/600,6 speed and is a Regular Cab. I got the truck for $6,000 less than the msrp including tax and lic. The increases that had occured at the factory were never even mentioned. I have bought more than 50 vech. and never had such great experience.
