diesel mechanic in oakland, CA ?

i've had the hardest time finding someone in oakland (or anywhere in the san francisco bay area) to work on my truck. although I want to do small things on my own, I definately need someone to help me here. if anyone has a recommendation please let me know. thanks!

Mainly I need a mechanic nearby. right now it's this air leak around the fuel injector (I posted something about it). I'm very much a novice with engines and i need to find someone who works on diesels, most mechanics here in the bay area wont. maybe at some point I'll want to make a bigger change to the engine though, i'll keep those numbers. thanks alot!

No better way to become a better mechanic than to keep your TDR membership current and get under the hood! There are enough guys around you that you can get advice if you get lost. Just don't be afraid to ask!
