Minnesota becomes first US state to require biodiesel

On July 4th weekend, my buddy paid :eek: $3. 30 in Bridgeport, CA. When you need and they have it... A big tank is looking better. We just went up to NW Washington through Oregon. The price range is amazing. In Klamath Fall, it was 2. 75. In Madras Oregon it was like 2. 50 or so. No rhyme or reason on size of town, location, or how big a road the station was on. Me thinks we're not even going to get a kiss :mad:

Hey Jack ... do you get up thru Carson City?

That Arco on the N end of town has been one of the lowest around. I wonder what they're doing now?

ooooh ... can you imagine what Bridgeport is doing? :--) :--)

i was typing as AMink was. :-laf

$2. 99. 9 in Canyon Country, CA today, 8/3/05

Hey towworm, I paid 2. 80 in Castaic yesterday @ the Pilot. You might want to try the Texaco @ Magic Mountain and the Old Road. They're usually the cheapest in the area.

And you contiue to hear the talk about fuel oil pricing increases/supply level for the upcoming winter, and how it will affect diesel prices, availability :{

Sure after the big winter jump we will see the variability continue. though it amazes me now how it changes day to day, week to week, etc. very volatile market? :confused:

Get to Carson all time. There is a small station on same side of street as Arco which is usally cheaper then anyone. Never had any problem with there fuel. Don't know what the price is now. They are South of Arco and just North of Juicy's hamburg joint. They sell a lot of fuel to semi's.

Local J is at $2. 699 as of last night!! :eek: Thank god for my 100 gallon aux tank and my frequent trips to Oklahoma, just paid $2. 129 last Saturday there, $2. 139 in Amarillo, and $2. 259 in Albuq. NM . Kingman Az. was $2. 419 so I filled up there too hold me over till I get back to Oklahoma next week, seeing as how my " cheap fuel" supplier here said his stuff will prolly be $2. 40 a gallon when he comes by this weekend !!! :--) :--)

The thing that makes it the worst is when you are having to pay more for a gallon of diesel, than a gallon of gasoline, or kerosine. What is up with that??? I can't complain too bad at just $2. 38/gal. here, but that is still unreasonably priced IMHO. A few friends like to rub it in, now that I pay more at the pumps. I just tell them I still get better milage than if they were to use Prem. Gas to fill up.

What gets me is that if one refinery has a problem prices go crazy. They should do what the energy producers do. All around the central valley you see small power plants. Why can't this be done in the refining world? It is just a joke, and like the problem was an "accident". I had to fuel up this morning and it was $2. 95 cash price in Fresno.
