The Night before Christmas

Like "rolling coal" ??

Maybe he likes those cheech n chong movies?:p

No I dont know him... . and could be wrong. I get that all the time though when I drive my MB. I'll be totally late for the airport, and get behind some jackass doing 70 in the 70, in the left lane. No room to pass, I flash the lights at a reasonable distance (not tailgaiting) and they seem to smile or wave, like yeah I see you a-hole. Its that little devilish pleasure they get from blocking you for no reason that makes me so mad... It's like stop messing with people just for the sake of it. If someones in a big hurry, let them go. .

Man, Chris is cowboy, through and through.

LightmanE300, I knew you had to have a nice car, and been picked on somehow, just by the way you post.

Picture this,, it's about midnight,, and pretty chilly out. drice, TxDieselKid, Charlan, and I are at, I think, a Jack in the Box,, and drice's truck has the most tear watering exhaust I have encountered coming from a Dodge/Cummins, and Chris' truck is right next to it. Well, both are idling away,, drice's g/f is in drice's truck, with the heater on, and drice, Chris, and I are all standing back by the tailpipes eating breakfast. Nobody minding the 3 500HP trucks idling in the parking lot, just us, smelling the vapours. In the time being, Chris is putting on some Diesel Innovations stickers all over his truck. We head on out, and end up in a hotel with several other people (not enough room for us to all fit inside one room, so we leave the door hanging open, and just about everybody is drinking. That was pretty fun.

Chris is a fun guy, and can be rather merciless with his smoke. And he's got some smoke to dish out too!

Lightman you've made your point several times over, and you have been asked nicely to leave this thread be.

I now ask the same of you. PLEASE! LEAVE US BE!

We like this thread! If it we didn't it wouldn't have lasted as long. We ENJOY it, and its not going to go anywhere.

You've stated your opinion, that's fine we accept it, and we don't think anything differently of you because you have a different point of view. But for goodness sakes quit your sarcastic remarks and degrading remarks. We don't want to read them in a SMOKE thread.

I'm not scarred or upset to come to the conclusions I have... they are just responsible ones. I've been on both sides, driving a beater, and driving a nice car. I feel the same either way. People should just have a little common courtesy for others on the road. If that was your mother or aunt flashing their lights behind you needing to get by, you would have let her... think about it. I'm not going to get into my opinions on smoke again for the sake of this immature thread, because I know you folks enjoy your smoke so much. :p

Gotsmoke, dont you wish you would have read my last post before you posted that idiotic reply? You can have your silly smoke thread, I've made my point... and you can kiss this!

Man I thought I was the only one that did that. Anyone notice how sweet your exhaust smells when you first crank up in the morning?

Anyone notice that some diesels smell different than others? Maybe I'm biased, but I swear powerstrokes smell really bad. I was next to a tow truck in a parking lot recently and it stunk. My mb smells like diesel but not bad, I somehow like the smell (most would think thats perverted, but not on this thread I suspect). .

Looks like someone took some midol and calmed down a bit;)

OK.... I have a few things to say...

First things first:

1. If you find this thread bothersome, or object to it, go to the nearest drug store, or grocery store, and grab a tube of monistat and apply generously to affected areas... it will ease your irritation, which causes bad moods.

2. we were in TRAFFIC!!!!! no one was going anywhere faster than anyone else... Also known as a MEXICAN ROADBLOCK. . So, tough s--- dude... should have left earlier, and by the way... take the phone and insert it fully in your @ss.....

3. DIESEL FUMES MAKE ME HORNY!!!!!

haha, yes, I have that little window clingy hanging in my truck.

4. I actually love Cheech and Chong movies... In fact, when I was into smoking pot, I actually won 3rd place at a Rodeo, and my best friend won first... Both of us high as kites! I have not done that in years, but can look back on it now and laugh.

And if it was a case of jealousy, what the hell was I supposed to be jealous of?? that he was breathing my modern day Indian smoke signals for get off my @ss?!

I am not on here to make enemies, nor to start wars... It's just like I say at work: "Some may like me, some may not. . in the end, I come here to do my own thing, not to win a popularity contest. "

Thanks for the replies Mark and Merrick. . you know when I am in traffic with a tailwind, I always belch out a big nasty cloud so I can smell the #2... . people dont understand, but its smell is awesome!!!!

Lastly, I have noticed the older fords smell quite rank! and rank in a bad way! I think the Fords you are talking about are equipped with Catalytic converters, hence the nasty smell you are inhaling that is rotten eggs to your nose. The ones I am thinking about are the Naturally aspirated 6. 9/7. 3 motors. I do not know what the heck it is but NASTY!!!! Oh well... didnt mean to go off, but just thought I would voice my opinion, like the rest of us. So, in the end, NO HARD FEELINGS TO ANYONE!!!

No hard feelings either charlan. I didn't realize you had such an addiction (smoke that is;) )

Interesting rodeo story... . ahh the good ol days of the herbal enhancements:::sigh::::. .

You may be right about the powerstrokes. I dunno what it is but they smell bad like dump trucks or schoolbuses.

What makes that roadblock mexican in particular?

A great quote by charlan himself to which I very much agree. However everyone seems to yell at me for following it. :p

Oops, there I went and posted again. Riflesmith warned me that I could be banned, because the TDR doesn't tolerate behavior like mine  :-laf :-laf

we call it a Mexican (pronounced 'meskin') roadblock, because it is only like 2½ hours to Mexico! this town has lots of them, and they always drive as to make a rolling roadblock... No hard feelings to the mexican folk out there... It's just a figure of speech...
