The Night before Christmas

Like "rolling coal" ??

When is the last time you smoked someone out so bad, they had to turn off the road?

. . Yeah, it happened! haha, I come up on this ½ ton gasser dodge, going 50 in the hammer lane, ride his but for about a half mile, then finally have enough, and come around him to smoke him. . I get on my way, only to come up to a red light. SMOKE TIME! he gets up on my back bumper, really close, so I start out in second, and I mean lug the motor into Jim Fulmer style smoke. . I look back, and he swerves around the cloud, is in the turn lane off the highway, gets screwed when other people begin coming around him, forcing him to turn off the road! Ha! what a successful smoke out! Oh well, we need more like that!

I was on my way home from work yesterday, minding my own business, and came up to a red light. Little V6 mustang pulls up next to me with some little punk kid sitting in there. No big thing, right? Well, light turrns green, and I start rowing gears. All of a sudden, he floors it and wants to play. . Okay! haha, no problem. As soon as I spooled up the ole 40 he freaked out like "What the heck was that noise?" so we get through a few lights, get a little straightaway, and he still wants to play. I fly away from him, leaving a little stream of smoke down the road like usual. Now, it seems like he is following me, and wants to get on the highway to race. Cool deal! On the way, we are on this road that is wide enough for 2 lanes each way, but has no markings, so I just hog the middle. RED LIGHT! I make sure I get over to the left, and he takes the bait. Windows down, and Once again, I lug the motor. Wow! What a nasty cloud of soot! Aint seen one like that in a while! Silver Mustang now has a shade of black over the top! Cool! So we get on the highway, and I begin my normal 75 mph trip home. no big thing. I see mister Stanger way back yonder fighting his way through traffic to get a shot at me. . I slow down and wait, and sure enough, here he comes, right up on my tail. I ease into it, just enough to make a little haze, and walk away from him, but not enough to make him think he lost. I slow back down, and now he is coming around the passenger side of me, and right about the time he gets to my pass. window, I lay into it, and give him the loudest earfull of Diesel Power he has and will ever hear! :-laf I fly away from him, and notice he backs way out of it, only to take the next crossover to go back home, tail tucked between legs! Haha, and he followed me a good 9 miles only to lose to a big diesel truck!

Thank you!

Its ok. . We all like whining in here from time to time, it keeps us on our toes; our toes that press on the SOOT PEDAL!!! Just wondering how long it would be before someone would open up and gripe. . Guess we know!

Harlan, don't you worry. I behave the same way sometimes. The smoke is a great deterrent for tail gaters. I keep my smoke in check more often. But hey, Chris is good people, so I'm not gonna preach.

yeah, when I first put my stacks back on, I removed the AFC spring and was going crazy w/ the smoke! LOL!

but I put the spring back in and actually tightened it up a little!

truck accelerates better and still puts out a fair amount of smoke ;)

we're ALL guilty of using the smoke as a weapon... hell, that's part of why we've got our trucks set up this way, I don't care what anyone says!!! when someone's being a prick in traffic and DESERVES it, we fog 'em!!! but I'm very careful and aware and don't fog anyone who doesn't deserve it... shucks, I've even narrowed my definition of "deserve" as I get older :(

absoutley! ive always wondered why they turn on there windshield wipers. :-laf

roger that... when I had the AFC spring out, my buddy and I were headed back to the shop after work... these people were stopped in the right lane for NO obvious reason... no damage to the vehicle, they were on a down hill slope with a parking lot entrance about 10 feet from the vehicle. so they could have easily pulled off the road...

we were stuck in rush hour traffic, and were wondering why in the heck everything was moving so slow...

when we pulled up on the "scene" (like I said, there was NOTHING going on!!!) I was LIVID...

I got right in front of their vehicle, put it in 3rd at about 10mph and rugged it...

we were about 6 blocks away before we saw the first headlights peeking out of the fog! LMAO!!!

I've sinced curtailed my smoke exhibition ;)

nice! a couple weeks ago i was driving some back road, come around a corner and there was a jogger on top of this hill in the middle of the road. i grabbed 3rd real quick and slowed down. i was pretty ticked! waited till i was on the downward slope of the hill, passed the pedistrian and lugged the engine out. i figured i'd give the jogger a reason to run. :D

i dont drive on your sidewalks. stay out of my road.....

man, one of the instances that made me start cutting back was...

I was headed home in rush hour traffic... on one of the main roads in my neighborhood, traffic was ESPECIALLY slow

then I come up on some tool riding his BICYCLE in the right lane at about as leisurely a pace as you could imagine... wide open sidewalk on the right... just holding up traffic... I got right up next to him, made eye contact, put it in 3rd, and rugged it... this was before I put the stacks back on, so it was all just blowing right at him! LOL!

anyhow, I looked back, and didn't see ANYTHING for blocks...

when I got home, I started feeling bad and realizing that someone could have very easily driven into the fog and hit him!

now, he definately deserved it, but my concience did a job on me, so I've been a lot more reserved since then.

This isn't really a "smoke" story but I did "smoke 'em" :-laf

Was on my way to work this evening and pulled up to a redlight where it splits from one lane to two, then continues onto a bypass that is two lanes each way.

Well as I pulled up to the light in the right lane I looked down at ( :-laf 315's will do that) the car beside because something caught my attention.

Well it was two Mormon missionaries, now DO NOT turn this into a reglious thing, I just recognized who they were cause I dated a Mormon girl a few years ago during highschool. I have the upmost respect for whatever religon anybody wishes to practice... . (steps off soapbox)... back to the story... .

Well we take off from the light and its at a slight uphill... ... even now almost a month later I'm having to really work at taking off in 2nd with my SBC dual disk... it likes to buck a little if I don't get the RPM's up.

Well I take off at a mild pace and notice the car speeds up... ... ..... so I decide I'd speed up a little more to match him... ..... nah this won't do thinks the driver I guess  ..... he speeds up a little more... . about this time I've had enough and decided to show these guys in the toyota corolla that they can't mess with my CTD. :p ... . I grab 4th and lay into 'er and away we go!!! Oo.

I easily pull WAY ahead and they eventually just get over in the lane behind me and as I grab 5th a send 'em a small quick clearing cloud of victory. :-laf

you know you done better when you dont see headlights for about 4 seconds!!!

you know you done good when their automatic lights come on!

You know you done the best when you smoke 'em out so bad, they get forced into a turn lane- and get stuck there!!!!! :-laf :-laf :-laf

Aron, Mark-- Good to hear from you guys! I was wondering if y'all were alive! I thought y'all turned into tree huggers on me or something! j/k :-laf
