K_Arts told me that you might be able to help me out with what guages i should run on my truck... . I have a 2001 24v HO standard and was wondering if a boost fuel psi and pyrometer would be sufficient or do i need a transmission guage as well

I realize I am not HVAC, but figure I would answer anyhow. No you do not need a transmission temp gauge since you have a manual transmission. I would say all you essentially need is boost and EGT, the fuel pressure is also a great gauge to add. First off decide which style of gauges you like - analog or digital? Once you decide that then you can look at the different gauges you will need and have available to you. Look around on the net, or "Search" for gauges and there is a thread with a bunch of gauges websites for you to browse. I'll try to find it later after I get home from work.

FF, I agree with Kat that the boost/pyro is the mandatory combo. I like the SPA digital gauges that we have. Since I installed digital gauges I cannot imagine going back to analog. I also have a second pressure temp gauge which I use to monitor the fuel pressure. The cool thing about the digital gauges is you can change what you are monitoring. A pressure gauge will monitor any pressure up to 180 psi. The temp gauge will go to 300 I believe after which you use a t-couple to go to 1800. The night operation is fabulous with the back lit LCD display.

Regarding analog gauges, a lot of folks like the autometer products. I'll have to defer to someone else to vouch for their operation. I would investigate the night time illumination on whatever gauge you are looking at.
