I am voting my V06 factory recall repair done by a Ram dealer to be the worst, what do you think? OMG!

Aside from aesthetics, does it work? Is the repair just supposed be a tac weld or is it supposed to have a bead? Is this permanent or temporary. I have a Cab and Chassis, so I don't think mine is affected.

Not a welder, so not sure I'm using the correct terminology.

What the dealer is wrong??? LOL. They had it for a hour. I was told it was not necessary. After seeing this not sure I want the weld job.
Your dealer is wrong,if you are receiving the notice you need it.
Depending what is found during the inspection phase will determine the repair

I had mine just done too. If you ever need to have your steering wheel straightened again for one reason or another, you got a problem. I doubt that this is a permanent resolution. I'm thinking that this is to comply with the safety requirement and then a new design being implemented. That's my hope for now.....
