I hate to get fired-up, but when I purchase something for some purpose and it does not even come close I try to let others know.
I bought a carpet for the one ton dump that I own to replace the original rubber mat after I had the floor welded. Well, like normal I have taken my time to get the job done right..... you know laying down some sound deading and thermal insulation. And when the time comes to put the finishing touch on, I have to ask myself why I bothered. The carpet came pre-marked as to the location of the holes for the T-case and transmission. No problem, cut them out, and they don't line up in the least bit :-{} Anyway, this is my work truck so this is not a super huge deal not having my carpet in for however long this takes to get worked out, but if this were my pick-up I would be really bent. FWIW please don't waste your time and money on a J. C. Whiteny carpet... . and if you know of a good source for a real carpet for a 1992 Dodge please let me know.
Sorry for the venting,
Thank you,
Russell
