Hello all. I have a 99 2500 and would like to get just a bit more power. Currently I have a Hypertec MaxEnergy programmer which gives me 50 HP at stage 3. Would replacing the injectors with a 40HP set form Oregon Injection be advisable or just get a programmer that gives more HP? I have already done the transmission upgrade and installed gauges. Just need a little more to get me up that hill a little faster.

I recommend a set of new Genuine Bosch RV275 injectors. Depending on your mileage, you might be due for a set anyway.

This is exactly what I did with the wife's truck when I replaced the head gasket, installed ARP studs, and had the head re-worked. I use genuine Bosch RV275 injectors which were pretty difficult to find at the time due to the China Virus situation. Those Bosch RV275 injectors gave the truck a nice boost in power across the rpm range. The wife liked them.......she had a smile on her face the first time she put her foot in it. :)

I purchased them from Geno's Garage at the time because they were the only place that had any and I got the last 6 injectors they had. They are apparently still out of stock. I also replaced the crossover tubes with new o-rings too since the engine had 175,000 miles on it.
