Missing a bolt near bellhousing, video

2006 Dodge 3500 2x4 cummins automatic trans.



This video is taken under the driver's side, looking forward.



I point to an area where a bolt should be.



Just noticed this today while changing the oil, glad I saw it.



I need some help identifing what it is, and the bolt size.



Should I use medium threadlocker when I replace it?

There isn't a bolt there. Mine doesn't have one there and never has. It's tapped for a different application I'd guess

Okay, then it's a through hole in the casting. The starter bolt doesn't have a blind hole, it's open to the back.

I agree also. Your engine is just too clean. It is easy to see the hole :-laf
