Ok I know theres tons of talk about twins vers singles and i know im prob gonna open a can of worms but..... :-laf Im between a rock and a hard place and dont know what to go w i have the htt on w mach 4's and it still gets kinda hot do i go w a smaller injector,or use the BD turbo w a diff injector. Or do i do the bd twin kit with the mach 4s. But i want a reliable truck that i can tow with and daily drive. I know im gonna have to choke on one of the turbos and sell it or different injectors but im at a loss for an option. I like the idea of twins but am i then creating a truck that isnt realiable please help so that when my pump comes back i can get my baby back on the road. :{i love my htt if i could get egts in check. plus if i stay w a single i can take the money and buy an intercooler . thoughts please

This is exactly what I was not wanting to read. I was planning on buying a set of mach 4's eventually. If you are having problems with high EGT's, I may have to reconsider. I do not want to drop the cash on twins to keep them in check. I was considering one of these Super PhatShaft Turbos

Let us know what you decide.

Why do you think the twins are not reliable I know a couple guys with the PDR twins and they tow somewhat big and I would say their trucks are very reliable... ... except for the one with the 53 block:-laf

well not that its not reliable but then comes risking head gasket studding and oringing. I dont care biting the bullet to buy something else im just at a loss right now :--)

Joe you could also send the 62/14 in and have them turn it into a 62/71/14 and I think you would be impressed. I can tow all day long as long as I stay above 2200rpm. Thats with 10,200lbs and my 37" Toyos. It was also 102 degrees out. I have a PSM setup if anyone is interested.

I think with all of your mods, studs/o-rings would definately give me a more warm/fuzzy feeling as far as reliability is concerned

there's nothing unreliable about twins IMO. The only annoyance with them is that they take up so much more room under the hood.

well im keeping my single and goin w mach 1. 6s. talked to olee poole today hes a great guy and i think thats my best bet for towing for right now.

Thats funny I was thinking about doing the same thing. I dont need to be the baddest kid in town anymore I really just want to be efficient. The Mach 4s are one bad mamma jamma though. Its hard to give up the power but I cant even use all of my Adrenaline with em any way cuz it pegs the pyro and wants to hit 50+ lbs of boost right now and my truck aint built for that and wont be for a while if ever.
