Need hood release, where to get?

My hood release cable is in pieces. Mopar wants $84 for a new one, and my local junkyard has none that are usable. Anybody know of a place that sells them for a reasonable price?

For future use, take a piece of string or small rope (baling twine even works, just make sure it isnt bright orange) and run a second release behind the grille and in front of the radiator, so you can at least get your hood open.

At least it didn't break on me. It was like that when I got the truck a couple weeks ago. I can still get the hood open. The PO had what was left of the cable sticking out between the grille and driver side fender. Not pretty, but I can still check the fluids.
